South Philly Bioblitz

Join a team from Bryn Mawr College for a bioblitz in Center City and South Philadelphia and take part in our study on historic redlining's effect on biodiversity today. There's also a thank you lunch afterwards at Nam Phuong Restaurant (at 11th and Washington Streets).

We will look for plants, animals, fungi, and other wildlife in four areas with varying histories of redlining. Your data will help us compare biodiversity across these four areas. 

The bioblitz will start at the intersection of Broad Street and South Street, and at least four teams of volunteers will go survey the four quadrants for a period of two hours.
